Did you use "make mlnet.static" or "make mlnet.byte.static"
??

shadowandy,

I installed all packages from
http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/packages/ and
http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/extra-packages/All/
except these packages, I didn't install other packages.

Should I use another kernel, I found fonz's web has other zImages.

I had tried dlink firmware 1.06 and 1.07, the result was the same.

chapin,

I compiled using native compiler. I didn't modify makefile. The ocaml source code can be found at http://caml.inria.fr/pub/distrib/ocaml-3.10/.

What are the packages you installed on your DNS-323?

shadowandy,

I keep trying compile mldonkey in these days.^^|||
Can you answer me some questions? tnanks...
Are you compiling ocaml by native compiler not cross-compile??

How did you compile ocaml, just "./configure -prefix /ffp"?? or is it possible that you modified the Makefile??

I found no matter what I did, it's always built in FPA not software float.

shadowandy,

Sorry for asking you so many questions. I hope you don't feel unconfortable.

I got libiconv from "http://www.inreto.de/dns323/fun-plug/0.5/packages/libiconv-1.12-3.tgz". I also install all *.tgz in wiki package forder. I got ocaml from "http://caml.inria.fr/pub/distrib/ocaml-3.10/ocaml-3.10.2.tar.gz" and compiled it by "./configure -prefix /ffp;make world;make opt;make install". I set TMPDIR and my gcc -v is same as yours. what else I should notic?

I got mldonkey from "http://sourceforge.net/projects/mldonkey/files/mldonkey/2.9.6/mldonkey-2.9.6.tar.bz2/download" and configure arguments are same as yours. I guess you should install some packages that are not in wiki package.

I always got this problem
*******************************
/ffp/bin/ld: failed to merge target specific data of file /ffp/lib/ocaml/stdlib.a(stringLabels.o)
/ffp/bin/ld: ERROR: /ffp/lib/ocaml/stdlib.a(moreLabels.o) uses hardware FP, whereas mlnet uses software FP
/ffp/bin/ld: failed to merge target specific data of file /ffp/lib/ocaml/stdlib.a(moreLabels.o)
/ffp/bin/ld: ERROR: /ffp/lib/ocaml/stdlib.a(stdLabels.o) uses hardware FP, whereas mlnet uses software FP
/ffp/bin/ld: failed to merge target specific data of file /ffp/lib/ocaml/stdlib.a(stdLabels.o)
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
Error during linking
make: *** [mlnet] Error 2
*********************************************
I am so surprised that you didn't suffer it. it seems I compiled ocaml in a wrong way.

thanks for your help.^^
