Hi!
I’ve got a few questions about Mldonkey on DNS-323. Have you ever tested ed2k protocol? If yes – what about download/upload capabilities, any memory problems? Or maybe with high cpu usage?
I’m wondering if this great box would be usefull in releasing new files in ed2k – 1 or 2 releases and no downloads at the same time, or maybe 1-2 downloading files but with no so many sources. What more – I would like to use ipfilter.dat. Mldonkey with ipfilter on my Ubuntu Server 7.10 box uses ~50 MB.
Any suggestions would be great!
Greetings from Poland!
Hi Przemek,
I don’t really use ED2k protocol, but those people who actually use it don’t have issues with it. I’ve turned off suid (secure user id) and it is suppose to lower the resource usage for ED2k protocol.
