What a happening day in school. Went to school for some stuffs and decided to drop off at University Hall for a cup of coffee since it is two in the afternoon and I have yet to get my daily dose of coffee. The campus security keep shooing the taxi (that I am in) away from University Hall. I was like thinking, “WTF, can’t I stop here to get a cup of coffee”. I heck care the security person warning and got off a few metres pass the building.

“You cannot drop off here”

“What? I am here only to get coffee”

“bomb threat. bomb threat, everybody has gathered in the field”

I was like stunned for a moment. Looking around, they really had blocked off the entrance to the building and they tried redirecting traffic away from the road. Walked towards YIH and saw group of staffs moving from the field to multi purpose hall.

The next best place to slack for the time being would be YIH but there isn’t any coffee! Hence rested my feet at YIH (at the same time playing PSP). While I was at YIH, saw that they actually deployed road block infront of YIH. There was a security personnel directing traffic away from the road.

I guess NUS has got contingency plans for these type of incidents. Wonder how extensive is their incident response plan. What an eventful day.

Good thing is that, I still managed to get back to Spinelli at 3pm. Seems like the incident response team declared the area safe at 2.40pm.
