mldonkey with graphical stats
Got bored and so I compiled a version of MLDonkey with GDLib for fun. Not sure if it has any negative impacts on the performance.

Hi Shadowandy,
thank you for the great work on mldonkey for dns-323. Now that you are “bored”, is it the right time to suggest, a version including the kademlia protocol? I would very much appreciate it.
Thank You
Andreas
Andreas: Try and see if it works with kademlia as it seems like it is bundled with the donkey protocol. So try out with the compiled copy tagged with “new” and not the “lite” version
Hi shadowandy,
I saw on your webpage that you have compiled mldonkey with gdlib for the DNS-323.
I’m currently running a media server “Oxyl” on my DNS and would need a version gdlib and php-gd for the server to be able to resize pictures (movies and mp3’s run very well so far).
Can you give me some pointers how to get the gd library onto the DNS-323?
Perhaps you have some precompiled binaries, since I don’t have a compile environment set up.
Cheers,
Emacs
Emacs: I am afraid that php with gdlib support need to be included during the compilation of php binary. You can check out fonz’s site on the php binary he has compiled. It might have php with gdlib support for image manipulation (jpeg, png).
Thanks Shadowandy - I’ll try that!
Thanx! Works great on my Conceptronic CH3SNAS.
Homer: Great to hear that. Do test if mldonkey with graphical stats takes up too much resources.
