New shoes, belt, hard disk (2)

    April 25th, 2009

Shopping frenzy!! Bought quite a few items this month. Felt so guilty. But at least most, if not all, of them qualifies as needs instead of wants.

Purchase a Western Digital (WD) Green Power 1 TB hard disk earlier this month. NAS ran out of storage space. :(

    My new 1TB hard disk!

Bought a belt from G2000 Black Label to replace my current fraying belt. I like the new belt! Got to adjust the length later on. Realized that although Black Label series is selling at a premium (compare to their normal apparels), t he quality checks they put in place are not fantastic at all. The 3 new belts they took out from their store room have scratches or dings on the metal buckle.

Got a new pair of working shoes. My old Renoma working shoe is showing signs of wear and wear due to the lack of maintenance. Got a new pair from Ecco! Comfy pair of shoe (I hope). Also bought a tube of leather care cream to restore to revive my Renoma. Seems to be working.

Colleagues are also on shopping spree. They purchased 3 units of DNS-323, DIR-655, and a few units of WD Green Power 1.5TB to set up RAID5!
