Any way, when I plug the microphone cable to my computer, there's sound but a bit soft. When I plug the microphone cable to my Ipod Touch 2nd gen, the Ipod recognises it as a headphone, not a mic. I have wifi set up at home, and a big family across the Pacific Ocean - this way, I'm not tied to the computer for talking with them (except if I want to use the webcam, in which case an iPhone doesn't make a difference). I often speak to them while doing house chores and other jobs that don't require my full attention, and my headset is perfect for that. I actually use Skype frequently on my iPod.
