iPod Touch 3rd generation would work the same as 2nd generation. In order for the bluetooth to recognise the gps tracker, roqy is required.

I was wondering if a 3G ipod touch would work better or it’s the same (as 2G)?

Can I also pair the ipod touch with my Holux and use it with Google Maps without Roqy?

For the GPS device support, it is better to check the product support page for Roqy Bluetooth.

There are quite a few navigation software available on the ipod touch, they should work. Had tried Google Maps in a recent overseas trip. It works!
