Some pictures from our Taiwan trip (4)
Went for a short Taiwan trip with Serene from 24th to 30th April 2010. Originally had planned to go with buddies but they aren’t free during that period of time. So we just went ahead and plan our first trip to Taiwan.
We toured around Taipei, Wulai and Keelung on our own. Occasionally taking cab rides to go hard to reach areas like Yehliu. Selected one picture from each day of our trip. Others are in our facebook.
Walked around Ximending (西門町) on the night we touched down at Taipei
Ended our second day at Raohe Street Night Market (饒河街觀光夜市)
It’s street shopping day! Rested our feet and had lunch at Hello Kitty Sweets shop
Had a relaxing bath at the hotsprings at Wulai (烏來) after few days of shopping
Visiting the 13 layers (十三層遺址) after Yehliu Geopark. We went to Golden Waterfall (黃金瀑布)
Calla lilies at Zhuzihu (竹子湖, Bamboo Lake) in Yangmingshan National Park (陽明山國家公園)
Did you go down and pluck the lilies? I had Lotsa fun there with my dear.

Of cos nope! Those people sell the lilies for a living so didn’t pluck them. But did go down to the field and walk among the lilies. Feels good!
Haha of course not asking if you pluck them for free wor..
I paid about NT 50 for 10 stalks i think iirc…
