This is the scooba floor washing robot in midnight blue!
The iRobot Scooba 380 Floor Washing Robot from Woot.com finally arrived via ComGateway. The shipping, like the last time, is pretty fast. It took only four days to get from US to SG (via DHL Express).
For those who do not know about the iRobot Scooba. The Scooba is essentially a floor washing robot that automatically navigates around your apartment/room and does all the floor washing, scrubbing and lastly, squeegeeing. It does all the light vacuuming, washing, scrubbing and squeegeeing all one a single pass and it passes a spot multiple times just like the iRobot Roomba.

This is not exactly the latest router they have but since a friend passed it to me, I might as well explore the router a little.

ASUS RT-N16 - Multi-Functional Gigabit SuperSpeedN Router
300k sessions limit! Faster P2P?
The ASUS RT-N16 advertises that it can handle up to 300,000 sessions. This is awfully lot compared to routers of yester-years. Even the Engenius ESR9850 doesn’t match up to the ASUS RT-N16 in this area. The Engenius ESR9850 handles up to 50,000 sessions. High session/connection limits will certainly make P2P applications faster as you can connect to more peers.
The RT-N16′s high sessions feature is probably backed by its hardware specs:
- CPU: Broadcom BCM4718 533 Mhz
- RAM: 128 MB
- ROM: 32 MB

Using the ESR9850 with my M1 Fibre broadband
Got my paws hands on the EnGenius ESR9850
to replace the D-Link DIR-300 4-Port Wireless-G 54Mbps Router
at mum’s place. Others are getting it to replace their D-Link DIR-655 Extreme N Gigabit Wireless Router. The EnGenius ESR9850 is a 300Mbps Wireless N router with Gigabit switch.
So theoretically for internal LAN transfers, you can transfer a 700MB file wirelessly in 19 seconds instead of 2 minutes on Wireless G. The same file transfers over wired Gigabit interface under 6 seconds while it will take close to 1 minute on routers with 100Mbps interface.

If you work in an organization with no image capturing equipment policy, look here! The HTC Touch2 non-camera phone was released recently, adding itself to the list of non-camera smart phones (Nokia E51, Sony Ericsson G700, HTC Snap, Gigabyte Gsmart S1200, etc).
But is the HTC Touch2 non-camera the phone you are waiting for? Or you are hoping that Apple releases iPhone non-camera? Well, while you are waiting for Steve Job to announce it (if iPhone non-camera even exists) and you don’t mind a WinMo (Windows Mobile) phone, probably you can give the HTC Touch2 a try.

The Canon PowerShot S90 camera pouch I bought budgetgadgets.com is fantastic! The S90 is more manageable during outings now. Previously I had to keep the S90 in my bag or pants pocket or even worst – hold in my hands. Now? Just sling it across my body and walk around. 2 free hands and camera within reach to capture that special moment.

The tripod mount at the bottom piece holds the Canon S90 securely to the pouch. So don’t worry about the camera dropping out of the pouch if you decide to lug it around without the top flap. Yes, the top flap is detachable.
You might want to change the strap to some tougher alternatives. The strap that comes with it looks a little flimsy and mine is slightly worn after using it for a while. Overall, it is a good camera pouch! If you decide to get one too, check out the product link: Canon Digital Camera Hard Leather Case Bag Pouch S90. While you are at it, check out other camera bags, cases and straps available at budgetgadgets.

The Nokia X6 is the latest Symbian-based music phone with 32GB of on-board memory, 3.2inch capacitive touch screen, packed in a candy bar form-factor. Best of all, Nokia has thrown in Comes with Music for the 32GB version, allowing you access to the hottest hits anytime.

The 13.8mm thick Nokia X6 doesn’t come with any slider keyboard. In fact, physical keyboard is redundant due to the capacitive touch screen. Why have a physical keyboard when you have a on screen keyboard? Buttons are also kept to a minimal on the Nokia X6 – Power & USB on the top; Volume controls, unlock & camera on the right side; and SIM card slot on the left of it screen. That’s all.
