Been half a year
Been happily together with my baobei, Dixie, today. There has been time we are sad, been happy, been angry but at the end of the day still say sorry to each other.
Next line is for Dixie:
“Thanks for all the love and concern you had showered on me. Muacks! Love you!”
Went back to Mandai Hill Camp this morning after my long MC. Had mixed feelings about returning back to the camp. Want to shoot but cant shoot. Seeing the fellow shooters kind of make me sad, been thinking about my last few shoots before I went to the MO. Kind of terrible I guess. So better don’t shoot, save the rounds for those who can use those rounds to improve on their skills instead of wasting it on me.
Today saw all of their mini-z has been upgraded internally (few stacks of mosfet added). It’s kind of fast and quite a few more racers this time due to the addition of Kyosho mini monster racers. Again they have been monstrously stacked with mosfets.
Of cos, some racers from my brigade kind of “suan” me for not stacking my car with mosfet, some even say “nobody is racing MR01 already”.
I am interested in electronic stuffs, thus I play mini-z. I am not really a competitive person. When forced and when there is keen competition I tend to perform over my limit. But seems like the interest to race MR01 is not in me. I just play my MR01 leisurely, occasionally lapping other mosfet stacked cars with my 1 layer mosfet electronics.
Overall, it is the skills that counts. Of cos, stacking mosfet gives you advantage over others in terms of acceleration and maybe topspeed (due to the reason you can use higher end motors). But I still belief in you gain some, you lose some. A well designed track is one which has a few straights and lots of bends. If one cannot tune the car for cornering well it is equally useless. If one cannot control a stacked car well on the bend. I don’t find the point.
Most racers in my group blindly stack mosfet due to the high speed and acceleration it offers. But seems like their foundation in tuning their cars is not there yet. Kind of like a waste of resources.
Enough of ranting. Got di siao by Adil today. He said, “Wah Lau, you started all these mini-z stuffs in SSC. Now you don’t play”
I laugh laugh abit then one of the guy chap in “I know mini-z very long ago liao. Just that didn’t buy”
Sigh, didn’t buy didn’t buy lah. Say so much.
Reminds me of another incident. At the start when I first brought my mini-z to camp, everybody was so interested. Drove around and bang there bang there. I never complain. Even the mirrors on the shell are knocked off.
Then got a racer from my brigade bought MR02. I got from him and try. I mearly adjusted the trim settings and he got so scared and say I want to spoil his car. Sigh. To think that he is one of the few who knock my car here and there and I didn’t complain.
Kind of friends I have. End of rant.
Update: As pointed out by Dixie, should tell them I upgraded my toy to PS2. *hahaha*. Save money for now. *save* *save* People who are interested to treat me meals (Pastamania, Subway, Fiesta, Sakae Sushi) or even coffee (Coffee Bean, Starbucks) are warmly welcomed
