Medical review

Went for medical review at the respiratory medicine clinic at Tan Tock Seng this morning with mummy.

Reached there at 10, waited quite sometime for an x-ray to be taken. Followed by a review by the specialist.

Before I continue, ask you all ah. Take too much x-ray will affect health or not? Cos I have taken around 6 x-rays in half a month.

According to the x-ray I am recovering well. Just abit of empty space left. Which is a good thing. He wrote a letter to MO to get me a temporary downgrade. Asked him if I could do short distance sprinting, well he say not recommended.

By the time I left the clinic, it was already near noon so mummy suggested we have our meals at Fiesta@Causeway Point. Fiesta! Yummy~!

Went to camp to pass MO the memo/letter by the specialist. The MO took out quite a thick book and start flipping to the section for Pneumothorax. At first I heard 6 months temporary downgrade. Well I think is still alright, still can shoot as long as I am in C1L1 and C1L2 (mentioned by Maj Johan). Then he suddenly added E9L9. Dang!

Excused overseas for up to a year also. Went back to SSC today to update them about my Pes status. Called up my Platoon Commander also. Seems like all are stunned about it even though it is a temporary downgrade.

Sigh, seems like going back to Bedok Camp le… Cant shoot rifles anymore, but guess I still can shoot air rifles right? 😀

I also want to learn air pistol.
