NKF to stage 3rd show to raise funds

NKF Children’s Medical Fund charity show managed to raise more than S$10 million during the first 2 shows held on 11th and 18th of this month.

This whole thing started 3 years ago and this show takes place quite a few times per year.

This time round quite a few Singaporeans are misled into calling the donation number that ends with “55”, thinking that it is a S$5 donation but instead it is a S$26.25 donation. Have you been misled also?

Wonder why they want to stage another show when they collected such a big amount this time round, still have 3 years of reserves untouched. And the money they collected are free from tax.

If they really need funds so much, why bother giving out cash prizes, cars and lcd tv? Are they trying to mean Singaporeans are materialistic people? Or to use prizes to mislead people into calling the “55” number?
