Operation Pneumothorax

Finally something to solve my recurring left primary spontaneous pneumothorax problem. Operation which involved some cutting of the lung, removing some sort of lining then make the surface of the lung stick to the chest cavity. Plus 2 chest tubes to suck out the air after the op to keep the lung inflated.

Went to meet the surgeon today at TTSH, followed by a CXR and blood test at NUH. Lost 6 test tubes of blood today. *faints*.

Ahhhh… Going to admit to NUH on 18th August 2004, operation on the 19th. Oh, got another MC which starts today til the 18th. Seems like my platoon back at Brigade think that I am chao genging due to my super long MC. They insisted I go back to Bedok Camp II to endorse my MC despite that I can book in to Mandai Hill Camp II to endorse my MC.

Been told by the doctor that I shouldn’t do things alone outside, just incase I faint or what. What to do, army wants me to go back. Faint le meet with accident, just another big news for the army lor. Then future NSF with the same problem get more protection. *loL*

Wonder what krap thing they are going to say tomorrow. Prepared 2 letters meant for MO to see. The MO over there don’t know my current situation. Especially this is my second attack of pneumothorax. Second attack with my first was going to recover. See what they want to do if I get sudden chest pain tomorrow.

Infact has been feeling a dull chest pain. Cant really notice it until I sit down and doing nothing.

Sian ah, going back to Bedok Camp II to endorse MC tomorrow. Wondering who will bear the responsibility if something happens to me on the way back to camp. Travelling from the west to the east side of the island.

Edit: Got a feeling that PC will ask MO to change my MC to incamp MC. *hmmmmm*
