handphone servicing + computer purchasing

Met up with Daniel and Rena in the late morning at Westmall before going down to Sim Lim Square to get a computer assembled for their cousin.

Met up with their auntie and the cousin at Bugis MRT. *Ho Ho*. The auntie say I look intelligent. :X

Went directly to Cybermind, look at the Pentium IV bundles as he wanted an Intel system. Well, alot of the specs is based on “his friend say”. He wanted a PIV 3.0GHz system, 1GB ram, 17inch LCD plus wireless keyboard and mouse with a budget of SGD$1,600. Cant stand of the phrases “my friend say”, “but hor my friend say”. *Dang*

Got a Asus P5P800 mobo, PIV LGA775 2.8Ghz, Cosair DDR400 2 Piece Kit (512MB total), WD SATA 80GB, Inno3D FX5500, CDRW Optical Drive and 17inch Philips LCD. *Bleah* I also want. :X

As there are 5 people in the group, it is impossible to share a cab back to Daniel’s house. So I parted the group so that I can go and service my cellphone at Tampines. Got Rena to go with me as I don’t really know where the Nokia Service Centre is. 😀

Took a bus back to Tampines. Lucky she know, else we will be walking quite a distance to take the train. Long bus ride. >.<. But enjoyable.Sent the cellphone for servicing, the staff is stunned when she saw my address. "Travel so far to service the phone". Haha. What to do? I am in the area anyway.Went back to Dan's house. Powered up the system and did all the installations stuffs. Finally everything is set up, while doing a backup, a software glitched occured, cant fixed the MBR and need to reinstall again. *Sian half*. Nevermind, in the mean time I am suanning someone's programming. :X
