Szechuan?
The ingredients – dried mushroom, chicken stock, vinegar, shao xing hua tiao jiu, potato starch, oil, ground white pepper, salt and sugar, tofu, scallop and sharkfin
Soup bubbling away! See tofu dance!
After the eggs are added! Looks so restaurant like!
The soup itself, piping hot and delicious. Yummy!
Weiliang wanted to try his hands on making soup, from a receipe from magazine. Met up with him at the supermarket at Clementi, scouted around for the ingredients. Oh man, buying ingredients and buying snacks is so much different! Spent quite sometime looking for the ingredients we need. And Weiliang substituted quite a few stuffs for others. He cant take prawns, so in goes the sharkfin. Doink.
After that took bus to his house and we prepared the food for cooking, soaking the dried mushroom in water, slicing the scallop, cutting tofu, crushing white peppers.
Soon Jiapei arrived and we started cooking. Ah!! So fun! :D. The rest is in the pictures above. Keke. Yummy. Soup anyone?
