They bloom like stars in the night sky

What’s the best location for enjoying sea breeze and stars in the night sky? Beaches? East Coast Park? Esplanade? Sentosa? Initially settled for East Coast Park but dear dear felt that I would have problem getting back home at night. Then she suggested Harbour Front. We went there after school, walked around the mall, not much changes to it since the last time I went there. The pet shop is still there, cute rabbits and hammies. Somehow the pearl white dwalf has whiter coat of fur than mine. (yeah there is only 1 pearl white dwalf, and it is SGD$45 for 1, and to update, my pearl whites gave birth to 10 babies hamsters, 5 on the 8th of March, and 5 on 17th March)

Went to food court only to find out that they don’t have vegetarian stalls. diao. Lucky outlets like Subways and Pastamania has got vegetarian food, just need to minus onions and garlics. She had creamy pasta – Al Funghi, while I had Mussels and Clams in white wine. Was thinking of whether to have Carbonara or Prawn Aglio or Mussels and Clams. Ah, so mafan. Want to eat everything. Pizza also. Oops.

Was chatting and chatting then realised she didn’t take Cable Car before. Made our way to the Cable Car office. Didn’t really know where it is but we just walked in the general direction of the tower with cable cars passing thru. Made some enquiries and soon we got ourself a pair of tickets to and fro Sentosa and Mount Faber.

We nua around the mall, and wait for the sun to set before boarding the cable car. Oh well, the night view in that area is really spectacular. High up in the sky, looking down at small cars, roads, ships and lighted buildings in the distant. Though Super Star Virgo still looks pretty huge from above. To go to sentosa, we took the route from the Cable Car Tower -> Mount Faber -> Cable Car Tower -> Sentosa.

Soon we are in Sentosa! Got ourself a map of Sentosa just like other tourist, loL. Took a bus ride to the beach and we spent some time there. Watched the stars, enjoyed the sea breeze, view the spectacular fireworks at the island opposite us. Samsung is holding dinner at the area and I guess they arranged for fireworks. Cool! Unexpected wor! Luckily, the island we are on aint part of the firework show.

Made our way back after that. Toot bus uncle take his own sweet time to bring us to the cable car station. Last cable car service is at 2300 hrs. But, we made it in time. Had a final view of the night scenary, this time round is different, saw HDB flats. Dang, back to reality. Welcome back to the real world.

Enjoyed the night. Thanks!
