Army – Countdown

Ah… Once again it is holidays for the uni studies. Instead of slacking at home and doing what I like, I am back to serving my remaining nsf liability. Went back on the 2nd of May and it is going to end on the 26th of June. Pretty short period I must say, there has been quite a few changes in the company. My Company Sergeant Major is posting out to his new unit, while another posted in to take over his position. The new CSM is quite different from the old one though. But both are equally friendly and efficient.

Oh ya, quite a few people actually came back to resume their service – Weiyuan, Keng Boon, Javen, Yong Hui (coming) and William (coming). Seems like as of current, I have the most number of leaves. 25 days of leaves for 56 days of service. Beat that. Haha. Weiyuan has got 8 days though, he is pretty upset about it, but then his service ends on the 18th of June. And it is coming soon. Don’t really know why but I enjoy being in company for the first time, perhaps we are doing things that are reasonable and we are willing to do it. No longer have the feeling of being forced to do it like in the past. I always felt that it is needed to assign the correct person to get the job done well and efficiently. Some are suited for planning, some for designing, some for deploying and such.

Nonetheless, it is going to end soon. Now clearing leave, trying to find some work to occupy the free time and at the same time earn some money. And perhaps do something about my blog, been neglecting it for sometime already. And looking into upgrades for flowerpod. Just in case you all don’t know, at the time of posting this entry, I am still the web administrator of flowerpod. Wonder what stuffs should I add to the portal. Hopefully I come across some interesting stuffs during my free time.
