Hong Kong – Day 6
The last day of the trip… SIAN
Spent our last day in Hong Kong at Harbour City. More exactly playing Nintendo Wii at Toy ‘R’ Us. Play Wii Sports! Had a go at tennis and baseball. One word – FUN!
Saw a couple of toys I am interested in getting. Remote controlled plane! But was discouraged from buying. Probably I won’t have the time for it, and most probably I would crash it.
Look at LV while we were there. LV is cheaper! Cos the lack of GST. So it isn’t significantly cheaper compared to Singapore. For a SGD$1,600++ bag, it is only SGD$60 cheaper.
Made our way back to hotel as the airport transfer will pick us up at 4pm (when our flight is at 8pm). Basically the airport transfer went around the country to pickup tourists who are taking the 8pm flight.
Had burger king before the flight. Shopped around in the departure hall and confirmed the gate number.
There was a huge screwup for the gate number of the flight. On our ticket, it printed gate 67 while the gate is reflected as 6 in the information panel. The result? A handful of people failed to board the plane. Cool. A lighter plane = reach Singapore faster? Coincidentally, the return flight is faster. Not because of lighter load but due to the route taken.
