finally a break

Spent the last month mugging for a SAP Solution Consultant certification. It finally ended on the morning of 6th July 2007. 100% passing rate for NUS students! That’s the difference between them N’US.

We had lunch at Lau Pat Sat before heading our own ways – graduation ceremonies, projects, home, shopping, … Went over to Funan Centre with Wai Xin (president of NUS Archery wor, mai siao siao) to grab computer related books. He is buying them, not me! I seldom buy computing books unless it is needed for academic reasons. Bad luck and he went back home empty handed. While I, on the other hand, went over to Woodlands to get my PSP done up and getting a PSP remote (for earphones). Been listening to songs on the PSP so having a remote is so much better.

Met up with Serene dear on that night to play some PSP games! Had a few games of Metal Slug via link play. A simple and addictive game – just go around shooting your enemies and avoid getting shot. I still remember going to arcade to play Metal Slug during my secondary school days. Of cos I am not a good as other friends back then. They could complete Metal Slug with just a token and not missing any weapons/items in the game! Technically they are there to beat the high score or set the high score. Marvel Super Heros is another game they are good at. Those infinity combos where opponents don’t have a chance to land on the ground. For me? I sux at the game and was practically their practice target. *sigh* But hey! I win my much younger nephews at the game. *oops*

Serene and I played PSP until quite late. Went for buffet at Grand Court. A vegetarian restaurant on the fifth floor of Orchard Shopping Centre which serves delicious food. They have buffets from 11.30 am to 2.30 pm daily I think.

Went around shopping at John Little and bought some Bamboo Charcoal product. Hope it really works and fix my sensitive nose and insomnia problem. Andy is a problematic guy. Shopped around Orchard with dear. It is crowded everywhere. I forgot that it was a Saturday and had long forgotten how Orchard looks like on a Saturday. Squeezing among people, waiting for seats so that we could rest our legs and grab something to bite, bumping into familiar faces.

Tried and tested the Bamboo thingie just now. Had a nice sleep. Probably it is due to the lack of sleep for the past one month. Going to hit the sack again.
