My way of learning…

I remembered one of my lecturers telling me this – if you don’t understand, read it again.

Whenever students approach him ask him elaborate on his teaching materials, he would ask the student to go back to read it again. Some students approach him again and again. His reply is always the same, “Do you really understand the materials? If not read it again”.

Soon, they will stop approaching him on that matter. It is either the student has finally understood the material or they gave up on approaching him. I chose to belief the former.

I really like the advise of “if you don’t understand, read it again”.
