Labour Day!

My first time celebrating Labour Day! Met up with DARK and girlfriends for the day. Went to a few places – Iluma, Vivo City and Marina Barrage.

Ricky needed to get Invisible Shield for his iPod Touch 2G and the seller say he has got stocks at the Otaku House@Iluma. The seller made us went all the way there only to realize he DON’T have stocks for iPod Touch 2G. Had a drink at TeaDot. Blended Matcha is nice! Warning: Don’t be too adventurous and try those with exotic spices.

Matcha!

Dropped by Epicenter at Bugis to get the Body Guardz instead at 20% off. It seems like Body Guardz offer better cutting than Invisible Shield and hence offers more coverage. Hope Ricky will not use the 2nd piece. I might consider changing to Body Guardz.

Next stop – Vivo. Will be having our dinner at Carnivour. The place serves meat, meat and more meat – beef, pork, chicken, mutton, fish.

The appetizer and “salad”

Carnivore isn’t really fantastic for its price. There are definately rooms for improvement. The servers keep skipping our table. The roasted pineapple never fails to skip our table. The server with mutton and fish never fails to skip our table. Foreigners’ plate were never empty. My plate was like empty for a good 10 to 15 minutes a couple of times before the server offered me pineapples. Will not recommend Carnivore. Try the japanese food outlet few stores to the left instead.

Explored Marina Barrage after dinner! Marina Barrage is a dam in Singapore. This project turns Marina Bay and Kallang Basin into a freshwater reservoir. Judging by the amount of cars last night, I guess it is a popular place. There are cars parallel parked along the whole stretch of road.

Took a few pictures of the Singapore Flyer

The scenary is not bad at night. It would be better if it was windy last night, minus the rotting smell from the water body.
