Custom SLR – C-Loop Camera Strap Mount
For those who are used to side-slinging the DSLR, perhaps you would like to check out the C-Loop Strap Mount Solution from Custom SLR. The construction of the Custom SLR C-Loop is surprisingly simple, a swivel strap mount piece and a “bolt” that fits nicely into the tripod mounting point of your camera.
Instead of using other tools to fix the C-Loop into the tripod mounting point, the C-Loop comes with a “handle”! You can simply twist the C-Loop into the tripod mounting point, then push back the “handle” and it nicely flushes with the “bolt”. Cool eh?
The bottom of the C-Loop is a rubber/neoprene washer. This sits between the C-Loop and your DSLR and it ensures that it is tightly lockdown onto the DSLR tripod mount. It has got diamond shaped pattern cuts for better traction.
This is how it will look like on your DSLR. It sits nicely on the bottom of my Canon EOS 60D. Been using it for a couple of days and so far is my absolute favorite for strap attachment simply because it works with standard straps (even the one that comes free with my Canon EOS 60D).
