Cool! I’ve got myself a new toy to accompany me while jogging. That is, a heart rate monitor from Polar! I managed to get the Polar WearLink®+ transmitter with Bluetooth® heart rate sensor for S$87.00 at the Singapore Sports Expo. That’s a good deal!
What is a heart rate sensor?
A heart rate sensor or heart rate monitor picks up your heart’s signals (heart beats) and displays them to you. For this product, compatible applications like Endomondo, RunKeeper, runtastic, etc. are used to read and display your heart rate while you exercises. There are others that displays heart rate data to wrist watch.
