Installing Citrix License Server

The Citrix License Server is responsible for managing the licenses for each of the products that you have purchased and monitoring and metering functions built in each product.

For a Citrix environment, you need at least one License Server to store and manage license file(s). All licenses are contained in a pool on the license server(s). License check-out is triggered based on product-specific system activity.

In this guide, we will install the Citrix License Server version 11 required for Citrix XenDesktop 7.1 environment.
