Insert the Citrix XenDesktop 7.1 Installation Disc and select the ‘Virtual Delivery Agent for Windows Server OS’ option.
If you are not using Machine Creation Services / Provisioning Services, choose ‘Enable connections to a server machine’ and click the Next button.Check ‘Citrix Receiver’ if you need it. Click on the Next button.Fill in the XenDesktop Controller address and click on ‘Test connection…’.Once the connection to XenDesktop controller is successful, click on the ‘Add’ button. Proceed to the next step by click on the Next button.Optionally, you can deselect these features. Once done, click on the Next button.Take note of the ports required and open then on your network firewall and Windows Firewall.Review the pre-installation summary. Click on the Install button to proceed.Allow the machine to reboot. Click on the Close button.Ensure the ‘Restart machine’ option is checked. Click on the Finish button to complete the installation.
