Registered for sms.ac? Good Luck

Free sms provider are often the favourites of a typical Singaporean.

Recently quite a few friends of mine went goo goo gaa gaa over www.sms.ac as it provides free smses simply by emailing the account on the sms.ac and it will be delivered free to their handphones! Wow! Cool! A cool way to cut down the expenses of using your handphone to sms!

Even on their main site, they stressed about FREE sms! Yes free sms!

Seems like there’s not free lunch in this world. Have you read the fine prints? Guess nope.

Seems like you need to earn free messages.

Well for those that have been using the smsMail feature extensively, the next quote is for you all.

Where can I view my Message Summary?
To review your Message summary at any time, go to the “myMessage” page, and then click on “Message Summary”.

Well start taking out the calculator and calculate how much you are going to pay the telco.

As for Singapore, not sure if it is really free. But who knows they send advertisement straight to your handphone, forcing you to read the message (or some of you may argue, nevermind just delete) then earn 1 free message?
