Placement test for Polytechnic Students

Ahh, they (NUS) shifted the dates for the placement test from 20th July 2005 to 18th July 2005! Panic attack. >.<'Going to take the following papers.

CS1101 Programming Methodology
CS1102 Data Structures & Algorithms
CS1104 Computer Organisation
CS2102 Database Systems
CS2105 Computer Networks I

Alright, I aint a good student or brillant student so I am panicking over the placement test. Seems like I am worst of the IT students as JP downloaded the module test papers and I cant understand anything! Alright la, maybe only 10% of the test paper.

I aint a network specialised student so I guess I will fail for the Computer Networks I. Speaking of which, my CCNA and CCNP don’t help much.

Database Systems aint Database module I have learnt whereby I just play around with MS Access and create a wonderful program and pass with flying color type of module. Theories and theories! Down to earth SQL! Not like so easy to get Dist the last time round in poly.

Data structures and Algo. Oh man, I didn’t learn stacks, queues and list. Neither infix-to-postfix algo, circular array, O(n log2 n) MergeSort, QuickSort O(n) bla bla, Binary Search Tree, AVL Tree, Linear Probing, Quadratic probing type of stuffs.

Programming Methodology sounds easy. That’s pure java. Regretted that I didn’t take Java seriously. And if you think I scored Dist for my Java modules in Poly and I should not have problem in this. You all are wrong! My java is weak. Just that I am lucky to get a Dist previously.

GOD help me! Anybody can help me?
