Removed shoutboxes

Seems like the shoutboxes is loading up advertisements on my site. Pretty crappy. Decided to remove the shoutboxes feature. Wondering should I find a shoutbox script for my site? Pondering…

Any idea of free shoutbox script? Best is PHP based so that it can run on my current webhost. Other server languages are not supported on it.
