Setting up MLDonkey to use IP blocking list
Warning: Setting up ip blocking may fill up your /dev/ram0 which results in torrents which cannot be completed.
Step 1
Issue the command vwi to the mlnet core (View image).
Add a new URL in the following format (View image)
guarding.p2p http://www2.openmedia.info:8080/downloads/guarding_full.p2p.zip
Click on DL beside the newly added URL. Wait for a while before proceeding to the next step.
Step 2
Issue the following command in your telnet (of DNS-323).
/ # find * -name “guarding_full.p2p.zip”
If everything has been done correctly, it should show the path to the file guarding_full.p2p.zip
/ # find * -name “guarding_full.p2p.zip”
mnt/HD_a2/mldonkey/web_infos/guarding_full.p2p.zip
Step 3
Issue voo+7 to your mlnet core. Under the option value for ip_blocking, fill in the path to guarding_full.p2p.zip (View image). In my case, it would be /mnt/HD_a2/mldonkey/web_infos/guarding_full.p2p.zip. Do take normal of the preceeding /
Step 4
Finally issue block_list to the mlnet core to check if everything has been set up correctly (View image).
