Manfrotto Purchases – 190CXPRO4 tripod legs & 498RC2 ball head
Woo hoo! Purchased some photography goodies to go along with my camera (Canon EOS 60D) last week – Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 4-section carbon fibre tripod legs and 498RC2 midi ball head.
Personally, I think this is one of the best purchase so far as we (Discman and me) gotten a nice sweet deal over at Amazon! We got the Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 at £192 before 16% VAT rebate! The 498RC2 midi ball head cost another £65, again before the 16% VAT rebate! Did a quick price check with the local camera stores (CP, SLRR) last weekend, this combination will cost approximately S$640! So the deal over at Amazon is really worthwhile even after factoring in the shipping cost!
Collected the 498RC2 from Discman today and unwrapped it as soon as I got home! Can’t really wait to put the pieces together. It is my first time buying a tripod in parts.
