Topped up/Added the following to my portfolio this month:
- SPDR STI ETF (SGX:ES3) at $3.30
- Vanguard FTSE All-World ETF (VWRD) at US$70.70
- iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF (IWDA) at US$43.40
Decided to add iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF (IWDA) to my portfolio instead of Vanguard FTSE All-World ETF (VWRD) from now on as iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF (IWDA) reinvests the dividends. To think of it, with the minute amount of IWDA I have, the dividends reinvesting probably won’t work. Well, probably it would be possible in the future?
Dividends!
Received $61.40 from Nikko AM (SGX:G3B) for July 2015. 🙂
The Singapore Permanent Portfolio
I was having a bad toothache from a cracked molar and had to visit the dentist on Monday. Took a little break from work and read “The Singapore Permanent Portfolio” by Alvin Chow. Wrote a short Book Review of The Singapore Permanent Portfolio to capture some gist of it and my personal thoughts.
My thoughts? Well, it is more about my portfolio. I started out with the intention to build such a (permanent) portfolio but I guess I was attracted by those dividends dishing stocks and I veered from the path. I guess it is time to accumulate my bonds component.
