Total dividends collected to date (Nov 2013 – Now) | $8,555.88 |
Total Invested Capital | $84,735.93 |

Another year is coming to an end soon and I didn’t seem to have achieved much. The total invested capital increased from $68,016.42 to $84,735.93. This increase is largely due to the periodic purchase of Singapore STI ETF (SGX:G3B, SGX:ES3) and Bond ETF (AGX:A35), followed by the new position in Singapore Post Limited (SGX:S08) and additional investments into Cache Logistics Trust SGX:K2LU).
For Singapore market, I picked up 7410 units of ABF SG Bond ETF and 1375 units of Nikko AM STI ETF100 via POSB InvestSaver. I also managed to add 1000 units of Cache Logistics Trust and 2200 units of Singapore Post Limited.
From the London Stock Exchange, I picked up 11 units of iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF (LSE:IWDA) via Standard Chartered Bank’s Trading Platform.
The portfolio still faced an unrealised loss of $5,367.85. I collected $2,315.43 in dividends which averaged out to be $192.95 monthly which is slightly higher than last year’s $184.46 monthly.
Donations
This year, I made a total donation amount of $400 towards Children’s Cancer Foundation, Metta Welfare Fund and KKH Health Fund. Hope the token sum will be able to help some of those in need.
Precious Metals
I bought a total of 80.1 grams of gold and 1,088.5 grams of silver for $4,191.09 and $848.64 respectively.
Conclusion
This pretty much sums up my investments in 2017. I hope to see the unrealised loss turn into unrealised gains in 2018!
