The Sony WF-1000XM3 was one of the best purchase I made to reduce ambient noise. I purchased the successor, Sony WF-1000XM4, after I thought I lost the XM3 during one of those on-leave-but-working-outside days. The charging case slimmed down a fair bit and now comes with wireless charging. A new integrated V1 Processor replaced the QN1e chip, taking noise cancellation to a new level while lowering power consumption. It also support LDAC in the WF-1000XM4. Since I “lost” the XM3, why not grab the Sony WF-1000XM4? I got it off Shopee SG for S$242.41.

Comply SmartCore Foam Tips with Sony WF-1000XM3

I bought the Sony WF-1000XM3 Truely Wireless Earphones last month and have almost been using it daily during commute. The Sony WF-1000XM3 is great but I find the included tips (both silicone and foam) lack-lustre in areas of fitting and isolation. As Comply does not have a specific recommended foam tip model for the Sony WF-1000XM3, I decided to try my luck with their SmartCore series. I am glad to say that the Sony WF-1000XM3 and Comply SmartCore series are compatible. I got 3-pack off Lazada for S$24.00.

Owning the Sony WH-1000XM3 cans was the best gift for my daily commute until Sony announced the Sony WF-1000XM3 in-ear active noise canceling (ANC) that fits in your pockets. Despite the lack of support for aptX or Sony’s own LDAC, I still decided to get it for its portability. The Sony WF-1000XM3 true wireless earphones retails for S$349.00.

Sony WH-1000XM3 – The best Bluetooth noise-canceling headphone around

The Sony WH-1000XM3 is my first pair of noise-canceling audio cans. I chose this over the Bose QC3 because I find it handling the balance between sound quality and noise-canceling better. I got the Sony WH-1000XM3 for S$478 on Lazada but I am pretty sure that you can find a better deal for this nice pair of headphones.
